Abadeh is a city in the Fars province of Iran. It is near the crossroads of three provinces, Fars, Isfahan and Yazd.

Abadeh is on the main road of Isfahan-Shiraz. From Shiraz and Isfahan, take Road 65 which goes through Abadeh. From Yazd, take Road 78 westward until reaching Road 65, then turn north.

By train

There are train service from Shiraz (4.5 hrs), Isfahan, Tehran (11.5 hrs) and Mashad to Abadeh, stopping at 1 Abadeh Railway Station Abadeh railway station on Wikipedia.

Historical monuments:

  • 1 Emirate Kolah Farangi Mansion. Building from the Qajar era, and was in use until about 50 years ago. Kolah Farangi Mansion (Abadeh) (Q42827143) on Wikidata
  • 2 Sarafiyan's Timcheh and Khaje tomb. Constructed about 120 years ago, this building was built in Ghajar architectural style. It functioned as a small inn with two stores and 36 rooms.

Famous carved wood-work, made of the wood of pear and box trees.

Abadeh crafts can be embroidered in cotton. The town also produces Abadeh rugs.
