Alcohol is not allowed in the park. There is a concession stand that sells snacks and soft drinks.

editThere is a Davis Creek Campground on the County Rd N 224 W in Bourbonnais. Inside the park there are two campgrounds
- Potawotami Campground.
- Chippewa Campground.
Stay safe
editSwimming in the Kankakee River is prohibited and extremely dangerous. There have been numerous reports of drowning, and help often arrives too late to save drowning victims.
