There are bike paths located throughout the park. Most of the park's locations have an entrance by road from Route 102. There are also a number of dirt paths.

There is a Davis Creek Campground on the County Rd N 224 W in Bourbonnais. Inside the park there are two campgrounds

  • Potawotami Campground.
  • Chippewa Campground.

Stay safe

Swimming in the Kankakee River is prohibited and extremely dangerous. There have been numerous reports of drowning, and help often arrives too late to save drowning victims.
