Ampelas used to be a small fishing village that was well-known to the fishermen of the Cyclades for the rich catch of "kalades" in its sea area.

Ampelas is experiencing significant tourism development with a corresponding hotel infrastructure.

Get in

It is located in the lowland area of Livadia, near the Parikia-Marpissa regional road. It is 5 km SE of Náousa and approximately 13 km ENE of Parikia.

Reach the beaches of Ampelas by bus from Náousa, or by car.

In the village of Ampelas, a few kilometres away from Náousa, you will find three small sandy beaches.

The first you encounter in the harbour of Ampela between two headlands which form a sheltered bay, where fishermen anchor their boats.

Following left the promenade you will find another small beach on the stairs down from the thalassodentro, If you want to avoid crowded places, in the Aspros Gremos beach you will enjoy the little shallow and crystal clear blue waters. The rich seabed is ideal for lovers of spearfishing.

Do not leave without going to a tavernas to try the traditional food of Paros, fresh fish, for which it is famous.
