Anaklia (Georgian: ანაკლია ) is a seaside resort on the Black Sea, about 30  km southwest of Zugdidi in Northwestern Georgia.

Together, Anaklia and Ganmukhuri are Black Sea villages nearby Zugdidi (34 km southwest). Nowadays, fancy tourist resorts with some high class hotels, pubs and casino. It is a great place to enjoy the Black Sea. The village sits at the mouth of the Enguri River a few hundred meters from the border with Abkhazia, an unrecognized independent state.

In 2010, extensive development work began to develop Anaklia into a top seaside resort on the Black Sea. A lot of new architecture was built in the kitschy style of Georgia at that time. The world's longest wooden suspension bridge was built over the Enguri in order to build a new beach promenade north of the old settlement. A marina and numerous huge hotels were built. In 2014, it was home to 1,300 people.

In Anaklia the 1 bus starts and ends at the last corner before the Black Sea promenade, right next to the Cruise Hotel. There you also find an updated bus schedule outside at the supermarket windows.

The nearest airport is Kopitnari Airport in Kutaisi.

By train

The nearest train station is in Zugdidi.

By car

The regional road შ 8 is the only major access road and connects Anaklia with Zugdidi (about 35 km) and is well developed. All road connections to Abkhazia are closed and crossing the border is prohibited.
