  • Gagarina Boulevard is a pedestrian street in the historic center of the city. It goes from Slavyanskaya (former Cathedral) Square towards the modern city center (Lenin Square, Dynamo Stadium, Tolstoy Park), going up along its entire length.
  • 1 Old Intercession Cathedral (Старо-Покровский собор), Pokrovskaya Gora, 2. Built in 1698 on the site of an older wooden church mentioned in documents from 1603.

Savior-Grobovskaya Church
  • 2 Savior-Grobovskaya Church (Спасо-Гробовская церковь), Lenin Ave., 98. Pseudo-Russian church with Art Nouveau elements, built in 1904

Vvedenskaya church
  • 3 Vvedenskaya church (Введенская церковь). The only surviving monument to the Peter and Paul Monastery, founded, according to legend, back in the second half of the 13th century by the Bryansk prince Oleg Romanovich, who was buried here around 1289 (the grave was not preserved). Built in 1702-1705, it was made in the traditions of Moscow architecture of the 17th century. In 1930 it was partially dismantled and restored in the late 1980s.
  • 4 Mound of Immortality (Курган Бессмертия), Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Named after the 1000th anniversary of Bryansk (Grove "Nightingales") . Monument to the fallen in the Great Patriotic War, which has become one of the symbols of the city of Bryansk. It is an earthen embankment in the form of a pentahedral hill 12 meters high, which is crowned by an 18-meter structure, folding on each side into a five-pointed star.
  • 5 Monument to the Liberators of Bryansk (Памятник освободителям Брянска), pl. Partisan. Installed in 1966, it later became one of the unofficial symbols of the city. In its appearance (stele plus sculptural groups) and location (in the alignment of one of the main city streets) it is very similar to the monument on Victory Square in St. Petersburg , but it was built 10 years earlier, so there is no question of plagiarism.
  • 6 Park-Museum A.K. Tolstoy (Парк-музей им. А. К. Толстого). There are several dozen wooden sculptures in the park, including a wooden fountain and a carved wooden stele, erected for the 40th anniversary of the Victory. The bust of Tolstoy, of course, is also present.
  • 7 Bryansk Museum of Local Lore  (Брянский краеведческий музей), pl. Partisan, 6.
  • 8 Bryansk Literary Museum (Брянский краеведческий музей).
  • Concert Hall of the Regional Philharmonic Society "Friendship" (Концертный зал областной филармонии «Дружба»), st. Kalinin, 82 (Slavyanskaya square). Built on the site of the Novo-Pokrovsky Cathedral blown up in the 1960s.
