Brusand is in Hå municipality in Rogaland in Norway, situated north of Ogna and south of Vigrestad. Brusand is part of the flat geographical area Jæren that goes from Brusand in the south to Randaberg in the North.

editBrusand is a train station on Jærbanen. Only local trains stop at Brusand (not express nor regional ones).
Get around
editUse the railroad, or use your own car. There are no car rental services on Brusand, but you can rent one in Stavanger before you arrive.
See
editBrusand has a beautiful beach and the country's only natural lagoon. The anti-tank obstacles erected along the beach during WWII are still standing.

editThe local store is the CoOp (samvirkelaget). You can get locally produced ceramics at Brusand -look for the large sign that says "Keramikk" on a red house close to the main road just north of Brusand -enter even if there is none there, and push the bell-button when you're ready to pay.
