By car


Arkansas State Route 178 is the only highway leading into Bull Shoals. AR-178 feeds into US Route 412, a key east-west artery in northern Arkansas, at the town of Flippin about 8 miles south.

From Springfield, take US Route 65 south to get to the Arkansas border; you will pass through Branson en route. Across the border, US-65 will become Arkansas State Route 65. AR-65 intersects US-412 about 35 minutes south of the border; from the intersection it will be another 35 minutes to Flippin.

AR-178 is the only main road in Bull Shoals.

Resort that covers over 400 acres with two miles of river frontage, and has 79 cottages ranging in size from two double beds and a bathroom to a two-story cottage with ten private bedrooms. Also has a restaurant, private club, gift shop, tennis court, playground, swimming pool, duck pond, game room, two nature trails and a conference area.
