Campli can be reached by the A24 Autostrada from Rome (exit Teramo), or from the A14 Autostrada between Ancona and Bari (Exit Mosciano St. Angelo.

This is a very small town and is easily walkable.

  • Scala Santa (Sacred Staircase) - provides the same privileges of indulgence as the Holy Stairs of the Pretorio in Rome.
  • The National Archaeological Museum in Abruzzo. [formerly dead link] Interesting exhibition that includes items from the Bronze Age (14th - 13th Century BC), and from 9th and 7th Century BC Necropoli
  • Sagra e Profano - town festival held in mid-July featuring bands, dancing and especially, local food delicacies. Featured are dishes made with rare, indigenous tartufi (truffles).
