  • 1 Wills Point Depot Museum, 210 W. South Commerce Street, Wills Point, +1 903 873-4568. by appointment only. Canton and Wills Point were major rivals over rightful designee of county seat status, so much so that Wills Point townspeople stole court records that eventually were returned when the governor decreed Canton official status as seat of Van Zandt County. Canton people were so miffed over the matter that they refused to have any business with the railroad depot in Wills Point despite not having their own, and instead set up one at nearby Edgewood.
  • 2 Edgewood Historical Society, 103 E Elm St, Edgewood, +1 903 896-1940. Reconstructed pioneer town and train depot display, along with historical exhibits on area.

  • 1 First Monday Trade Days, 800 First Monday Ln, +1 903 567-6556. This claims to be the oldest and largest continually operated flea market in the United States, drawing up to 100,000 attendees sometimes. It takes place from Thursday through Sunday preceding the first Monday of the month.
