edit- 1 Drakia Massacre Memorial, Drakia (on the left as you ascend Pelion through Drakia, just before St. Nicholas church). The memorial remembers the 115 men who were victims of a mass execution by SS soldiers on 18 December 1943. The massacre was one of multiple Nazi reprisals against the Greek Resistance in occupied Greece. In 2011, Drakia had a population of 381.
