Map of Chioggia

Chioggia is a miniature version of Venice, in that it has the Canale Vena and characteristic narrow streets called calli. It also has several medieval churches, much reworked in the 16th and 17th centuries.

  • 1 Chioggia Cathedral (Duomo di Chioggia, Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta), Rione Duomo, 77. Built in 1627.
  • 2 Church of St. Andrew (Chiesa di Sant'Andrea), Corso del Popolo, 1315.
  • 3 Clock of the Tower of Sant'Andrea (Orologio della Torre di Sant'Andrea), Ponte Caneva, 648. Oldest functioning medieval clock in the world.
