  • Coming from São Paulo via BR-116 (Dutra), take BR-393 at the entrance to Volta Redonda and continue on for 41 km to the entrance to Barra do Piraí. There, turn left on RJ-137 and continue for 26 kilometers more.
  • Coming from Rio de Janeiro via BR-116 (Dutra), take RJ-145 at Piraí and then on to RJ-137 at Barra do Piraí.
