Coolum is in the Sunshine Coast region of South East Queensland, Australia.


Coolum is one of many towns spread out along the many kilometres of white-sand beach between Surfers Paradise and Noosa. It is a quiet town suited to local weekenders, and people who want a beach holiday but none of the razzle-dazzle found in a resort town like Surfers.

To start off with, there's no trains to Coolum. But road access to Coolum is pretty easy with no such difficult roads. From the M1 Bruce Highway, just exit onto the 70 Sunshine Motorway, and keep following the motorway until the roundabout at the end of the motorway. From there, turn right, and you're there at Coolum.
