- Sturt Highway (A20), 61 km west of Narrandera, and 117 km east of Hay
- Kidman Way (B87), 36 km south of Griffith, and 31 km north of Coleambally

edit- Murrumbidgee Valley Regional Park. A small regional park managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, protecting the northern banks of the Murrumbidgee River. There aren't many tourist facilities, but they do provide some laidback picnic spots by the river.

editTelstra and Optus work reliably throughout the town. Vodafone service comes from a tower a few kilometers south-west on the highway and can get patchy indoors.
