municipality in the Netherlands

Deurne is a municipality and town in the eastern part of the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. The municipality consists of multiple smaller towns and villages, Liessel, Vlierden, Neerkant and Helenaveen, as well as multiple former pendant villages and parishes such as the Sint-Jozefparochie, Zeilberg en Walsberg. Most of these towns are surrounded by quite a few farms. Pig farming is especially big in the municipality, but farming in general can be more diverse.

Deurne borders directly with the Limburg province.
