Dudhu Chak

Dudhu Chak is in Punjab (Pakistan). The city is famous for its linkage to the border area with India, Basanter Lake. Most people are farmers who own their own land, or shopkeepers. During the last few years the town has developed rapidly.

Dudhu Chak (Urdu/Punjabi: دودہوچک) is a town in the northeast of the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is a historical town of Pakistan. The city was established by farmers and refugees from Kashmir about 500 years ago. Most of the population was Hindu before the partition of British India into the nations of India and Pakistan triggered the flight of most local Hindus to India and their replacement by Muslim refugees from India, and a Hindu temple can be seen in the heart of the town.

Dudhu Chak can be accessed by bus, van taxi, private or rental car or motorbike.

Get around

To get around the town mostly motorbikes are used. Cars and vans are also used, but rarely.
