El Sauzal is a town with 9,000 inhabitants (2013) on the northwestern coast of Tenerife.

editThe layout of the Autopista del Norte divides El Sauzal into two parts:
- Ravelo, between the highway and the central summit of the island; and
- El Casco, between the highway and the sea.

editThe streets of the urban area are an example of traditional Canarian architecture.

Wine tasting is part of a visit.
