editWA State Hwy 8 from Olympia connects into US Hwy 12 in Elma from the East. From the West, US Hwy 12 leads into Elma before splitting off South. Monte-Elma Rd (the old highway) connects Montesano to Elma paralleling US Hwy 12.

Grays Harbor County Raceway is a big attraction amongst locals and out-of-town folk alike. Sprint car racing (especially the World of Outlaws) uses the track every Saturday from April til about October. Hobby-stock cars and motorbikes use the track as well.
Elma Ponds is a nice place to relax on a sunny day. Fishing is possible if you bring a raft and float in the center of the pond. Not too many fish venture towards the shore as there are usually a lot of splashing kids around.
