The easiest way to get to Estcourt is by car. The town is located about 10 km off the N3 (main Durban - Johannesburg road, about 173 km from Durban or 398 km from Johannesburg.

By coach

Two or three Durban to Johannesburg coach services run through Estcourt. The travel time to Johannesburg is typically 5.5 to 6 hours while the travel time to Durban is typically 3 hours. The principal coach companies include:
