Description
English: The picture was taken at the end of a market day on the 14th of December in 2018 in Wara, Kebbi State Nigeria by the Kanji lake. The Kanji lake is found in most parts of Kebbi State and ends at the Kanji Dam in Niger State Nigeria. The lake offers a means of transportation for farmers, fishermen and traders all looking to sell their items at the Wara market as well as buyers. At the end of the market day, there is usually a rush to make it into boats and down the lake in different directions that lead home before night falls and the image was captured in one of those moments.
