Deutsch: Südansicht der Burgruine Rauheneck mit der Burgruine Rauhenstein im Hintergrund in der niederösterreichischen Stadtgemeinde Baden.
Die Gründungsburg der Tursen (Rauhenecker), einer der bedeutendsten österr. Ministerialfamilien, wurde in mehreren Bauphasen ab der 1. Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts erbaut. Errichtet wurde sie auf einem Felssporn am östlichen Abhang des Badner Lindkogels und mit der gegenüberliegenden Burg Rauhenstein kontrollierte sie damit den Eingang zum Helenental. Im Laufe ihrer langen Geschichte wurde sie mehrmals zerstört und wieder aufgebaut. Bis heute erhalten sind nicht nur Mauerreste, sondern auch der rd. 20 Meter hohe dreieckige Bergfried, der als Aussichtsturm öffentlich zugänglich ist.
