Deutsch: Das ehemalige Kurhaus und jetzige Casino sowie Kongress- und Veranstaltungszentrum an der Adresse Kaiser-Franz-Ring 1 in der niederösterreichischen Stadt Baden. Das Bauwerk im Stil der Neorenaissance wurde ab 1884 nach Plänen der Architekten Eugen Fassbender und Maximilian Katscher (1858–1917) errichtet und am 10. Juni 1886 feierlich als neues Kurhaus eröffnet. Am 12. April 1934 wurde im Kurhaus das Badener Casino als erster Ganzjahresbetrieb Österreichs der damaligen Österreichischen Casino A. G. eröffnet. Nach einem großen Umbau ab 1992 fand im März 1995 die Eröffnung als größtes Casino Europas samt Kongress- und Veranstaltungszentrum statt. |
