Deutsch: Ein Klassiker der deutschen Küche ist der Bienenstich. Ein Hefeteig wird auf einen Blech dünn ausgerollt und mit einer Vanille-, Sahne- oder Fettcreme bestrichen. Darauf kommt eine Mischung aus Fett, Zucker und Mandeln, die beim Backen karamellisiert und einen festen Deckel bildet. Bäckerei Schaller Kulmbach.
English: A classic of German cuisine is the Bienenstich (bee sting). A yeast dough is rolled out thinly on a tray and spread with a vanilla, cream or fat cream. A mixture of fat, sugar and almonds is placed on top, which caramelises during baking and forms a firm lid. Bakery Schaller Kulmbach.
