Summary
DescriptionCairn on top of Mullaghcarn Mountain - geograph.org.uk - 116782.jpg
English: Cairn on top of Mullaghcarn Mountain. At last I reached the top of Mullaghcarn which is the 9th highest mountain in the Sperrin Range in Tyrone at 542 metres asl. I was last here 45 years ago (showing my age!) when I did a trek with a youth group starting with an overnight stay in a village hall in Gortin and we treked to this spot and went down the mountain to join the Killyclogher Burn en route to Omagh. I still remember the blisters on my feet. Not many local people have ever been here, but the 360 view is well worth the effort.
