El servei d'Hipobària i Fisiologia Biomèdica té com a finalitat oferir a esportistes, determinats pacients, empreses o públic en general la realització de programes d'exposició intermitent a la hipòxia hipobàrica, proves de tolerància a la hipòxia i altres procediments basats en l'exposició a una baixa pressió ambiental. El servei disposa d'una cambra hipobàrica, sota control informatitzat i amb capacitat per a deu persones.
