File:Curatorial wing of the Canadian Museum of Civilization.jpg

Original file(1,280 × 960 pixels, file size: 1.01 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description The curatorial building is symbolic of the Canadian Shield. Its cantilevered structure leaves no level exactly above the level below. As with the bedrock of the Canadian Shield, upper floors overhang or recede. This bedrock was eroded and its angular forms smoothed by the glaciers which overrode it.
