Summary

Description
English: Everest Base Camp.

EBC is its own unique world and is defeinitely worth a visit. At the time we visited, most of the climbers were on the mountain doing acclimatization runs between BC, Camp 1 and Camp 2.

The camp is still busy though with support teams, medical personnel, journalists and researchers.

EBC functions as a small town for at least a couple months every spring. It has all the ammenities, but don't be fooled into thinking it isn't really basic thought and at 5300m cold all the time. What a funny place!
