Summary
DescriptionFort George and Buckingham House (14990627139).jpg
Of all the places I visited this Summer, Fort George and Buckingham House had the least amount of historic buildings left, but the most insight into the relationship between Hudson's Bay Company and North West Company. There are quite a few historic artifacts from that era and the interpretive centre built not far from the original fort sites is very well done. The original sites of the two forts are preserved and interpretive tour guides can show you where and why they think things used to be and what life was like for the early trappers and traders. I enjoyed my time here quite a lot with Dale.
