Summary
| Description |
Holenklooster op het einde van de Aziatschlucht, en in de 8ste en 10de eeuw verwoest door Arabieren. In de 13de eeuw, onder de Zakharjanen, werd de hoofdkerk gebouwd. De Zakharjanen hebben Armenië van de Seldsjoeken gevrijwaard. Daarna werden de holen tot kerken omgevormd.
