English: Ha'penny Pier, Harwich So called on account of the toll that was once charged for admittance. It was built by Harwich Corporation between 1851 and 1854 to serve cross-channel ships and local paddle-steamers. Fire destroyed the northern arm in 1927. The pier is now owned by the Harwich Haven Authority.
