Summary
| Description |
English: Hov is a village in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. This is the view from a road above the village, the road and the area there is called Hovsegg, the view is towards south over the village Hov. Hov is located on the east coast of Suðuroy between the villages Porkeri and Øravík. The main road now goes through a tunnel which connects Hov with Øravík, it opened in 2007, before that all traffic had to pass by Hovsegg high up on the mountain north of Hov. There are columnar basalt formations next to the road in Hovsegg. |
