Summary
| Description |
English: Joggins Fossil Cliffs, just below the Joggins Fossil Center, near Joggins, Nova Scotia. The rocks exposed in the cliff comprise sandstones and shales (and subordinate coal and bituminous limestone) of the uppermost portion of the Joggins-Formation (left) and the lowermost portion of the overlying Springhill Mines Formation (right, towards the headland), Cumberland-Group, Pennsylvanian of the Cumberland Basin.

Die im Kliff anstehenden Gesteine umfassen Sand- und Tonsteine (sowie untergeordnet Kohle und bituminösen Kalkstein) des höchsten Teils der Joggins-Formation (links) und des tiefsten Teils der auflagernden Springhill-Mines-Formation (rechts, zum Küstenvorsprung hin), Cumberland-Gruppe, Oberkarbon des Cumberland-Beckens.
