En la Argentina, el camino atraviesa siete provincias del norte y se extiende por casi 119 km.Los segmentos del Qhapaq Ñan y sitios asociados propuestos por Argentina –en Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Catamarca, La Rioja, San Juan y Mendoza– son testimonio tangible de un fenómeno de integración multicultural y de diversidades ecológicas sin parangón en la historia mundial, incluyendo desafíos logísticos y una tradición espiritual única en el mundo.Para la postulación internacional, se unieron por primera vez 6 países -Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y Perú- que desde hace más de 10 años trabajan en conjunto en un proceso original y de innovadora cooperación regional.
