English: Madhukeshwara Temple built in the 9th century by the Kadamba Dynasty, is famous for its architectural designs and carvings. The temple has several monolithic stone works such as a stone couch and triloka mantapa depicting heaven, earth and the nether. The idols of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu can be seen in the temple.
