English: Marikina[1]The City of Marikina (Lungsod ng Marikina, in Tagalog), in the Philippines, is one of the 17 cities that make up Metro Manila, one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world. Marikina was former capital of the province of Manila during the declaration of Philippine Independence. The city features typically many spacious parks, Museum (of shoes), monuments-museum-house and first shoe factory in Marikina of Kapitan Moy - Laureano Guevarra, monument of Wenceslao de la Paz, Kapitan Moy Restaurant-Museum.[2]
