| Description |
English: Pedestrian zone in the city center of Bayreuth Deutsch: Fußgängerzone Maximilianstraße in Bayreuth mit Spitalkirche und Mohren-Apotheke. Auf dem Gelände des heutigen Gebäudes Maximilianstraße 62 (ehem. Sparkasse) befand sich im 16.Jhd der herrschaftliche Stall- und Kastenboden. 1795 wurde auf einem Teil des Kastenbodens eine neue Fronveste errichtet. 1862 wurde hier ein Gerichtsgebäude für das kgl. bayerische Stadt- und Landgericht mit einem Gefängnis gebaut, von 1879 bis 1904 war hier das Amtsgericht untergebracht. |
