English: Security gates in a community centre in Chernobyl, Ukraine.

The gates have integrated Geiger-Müller tubes to detect radioactive contamination.

A person enters the gate sideways, placing hands on the detector panels for a few seconds. If no contamination is detected, the barrier opens and the person can step out the other side.
