Summary

Description
English: An opportunistic photograph taken at the right moment when the Elephant was passing in front of the two Eagles giving the impression that they were riding the Elephant. It also gives an idea about the natural beauty of the Kumana National Park. It is great to visit/stay in Kumana when the lakes and ponds are full bringing life to the wild. During such times bird activity is escalated including nesting of numerous water birds. Large herds of Elephants are not usually found in Kumana, unlike in Minneriya, Udawalwe and Kaudulla.
