English: Susanna Annna Maria memorial monument situated in a large garden at Chinsura, Hoogly, is belong to a Dutch lady is an eye catching Neoclassical and Baroque monument. Susana Anna [D1809 ] was a Dutch lady married twice, once a Dutch director of Bengal later a well to do English business man. According to local rumour Susanna married seven times. The eminent writer of British descend Ruskin Bond got inspired from Susanna's life story and wrote a novel Susana's Seven husbands based on which a Hindi film was made in 2011. The octagonal monument stands was used as a burial ground for English and Dutch residents, surmounted by a dome with a steeple. this tomb is an exact replica of Tammerus centre Visscher's tomb of Cossimbazar. It bears an inscription in Dutch which includes a poem. The building is raised on high plinth accessed by a series of steps. It features Corinthian columns and semi circular arched opening. The ornamentation is in the form of dentil cornice bands, pediments and floral patterns in stucco.
