English: During this walk I stepped away from the path to go uphill for a short track, to take pictures of a large "rock to east of castle", and some flowers and gardens in its front. This is one of the pictures taken during that detour. A series of consecutive pictures taken while walking part of the Pigeon Valley trail. Starting at the point in the west where most busses strop to unload their tourists, who can then take pictures of the town in the distance, the valley at their feet, and buy souvenirs and eat or drink. Next the valley is full of trees, there is a stream along the path, one passes rock dwellings and the characteristic dove "houses". At several point one can look up to the town above to the north. This series ends at a point where the road gets to a private house and garden (you may walk on, continuing all the way to Göreme).
