Summary

Description
English: View of the small town of Vossevangen with surrounding valleys, hills and mountains in Voss municipality| in the western part of Norway, seen from a gondola cabin on the Voss Gondol, an aerial passenger lift (gondolheis, taubane, svevebane) opened in 2019. The gondola cableway goes from the Voss Railway Station to the summit, ski resort, and hiking area of the Hangur mountain at 820 metres above sea level, north of the town.

The photo shows the lower, bottom station of the cableway at the Trafikknutepunktet, Voss stasjon, Fleischer's Hotel, the European route E16 (Evangerveien), Voss kulturhus, the lake Vangsvatnet etc. The early afternoon sunset colours the snowy landscape red/yellow and blue due to the low sun and long shadows from the mountains.
