English: Lake Sampaloc[1] is an inactive volcanic maar[2] [3] in -- --- San Pablo, Laguna [4] on the island of Luzon, the Philippines. [5]; Dagatan Boulevard is a place located at latitude (14.080800) and longtitude (121.323891) on the map of Philippines; [6] Coordinates: 14°4'42"N 121°19'49"E; It is the largest of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Laguna[7]. Nearly half of the lake's depth has a shallow depression at the lake's bottom, indicating its volcanic origin. The lake is located behind San Pablo city hall and is dotted with fishpens and small cottages built on stilts. Its craters, also known as maars, have since filled with water and are now disguised as placid lakes.[16]
