Summary
DescriptionXiXia Tomb 3 four stele bases (east) B.jpg |
English: Western Xia imperial tombs, Tomb No. 3, Yinchuan, Ningxia, China. Four reproduction stele bases on the stele platform on the east side of the spirit road. Three stele bases were discovered intact when the stele platform was excavated in 1987, but there was a square space where the fourth stele base on the right (east) should have been. The archaeological plan for the east stele platform shows that the four stele bases were originally evenly-spaced in a straight line (west to east), but the reproduction stele bases are in a slightly different arrangement. |
