Frisia is a coastal region along the southeastern corner of the North Sea. It is divided in the following sub-regions:

• Friesland (or West Frisia) — a province in the Netherlands
• Ommelanden — the region around the city of Groningen
• North Holland Peninsula — a region in North Holland that includes the region West Friesland
• West Frisian Islands — an island region in the north of the Netherlands

Germany

• East Frisia — a region in Lower Saxony
• East Frisian Islands — an islands region in Lower Saxony
• North Frisian Islands — an islands region in Schleswig-Holstein
• North Frisia — a region in Schleswig-Holstein
