  • 1 Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine (新倉富士浅間神社). Has a platform from which you can see the Chureito Pagoda with Mount Fuji, one of the most iconic views of the mountain, especially during the cherry blossom season. Not just a photo op, the shrine also has history. During the last eruption of Mount Fuji, an imperial envoy came here to pray for it to stop. The shrine is said to house a sword from the samurai warlord Takeda Shingen's father as an offering when he won a battle after praying here for victory.
  • 2 Kana-dorii (金鳥居). A large torii gate that says "Fujisan" (Mount Fuji), standing as a gateway for mountain worshippers, and Mount Fuji can be seen from the gate.
  • 1 Fuji-Q Highland (富士急ハイランド). Theme park with a number of rollercoasters and haunted attractions. Also includes Thomas Land for young fans of Thomas the Tank Engine.
