  • There is a guy selling 1 Real Italian Espresso. He makes it with a Mokka Pot, much better than the usual Nescafe. 100 CAF for a small, 200 for a normal cup.

Gabú is known for its nightlife and discotheques that close during Ramadan, however.

  • 1 Hotel Visiom. Twelve decent double rooms, each with private toilet and a fan. Electricity works only at night. No moscito nets. 12,000 CAF for a double room (2023).

There is a not-too-bad dirt road to Pirada border to Senegal, and also, it is possible to go to Guinea-Conakry from Gabú.

Taxis to Labé, Guinea costs 15'000 CFA plus 3'000 CFA for one piece of luggage. Prepare to spend up to 16 hours on bumpy and dusty mountain roads.
