Gembu
Gembu is a town in North East Nigeria, Nigeria. It is the headquarters of Sardauna Local Government Area, and a border town situated on Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State.

It is believed that the inhabitants of the Mambilla Region are descendants of the Bantu ancestors. They constitute the Bantu people who stayed after the Bantu expansion across Africa. Gembu is close to the border separating Nigeria and Cameroon Gembu is the highest point in Nigeria.
