Guayama, popularly known as Witch Town ("Ciudad Bruja"), is a city and municipality located along the Caribbean coast of southeastern Puerto Rico. Its historic downtown area is famous for its colonial architecture and the area is famous for its sports teams, sugarcane history and natural reserves.

The plaza in the pueblo has a fountain and shady areas with benches. The historic church faces the plaza.

Guayama has a scenic coastline, beaches, forests, historic buildings, and museums. Guayama has its pueblo with a historic Roman Catholic church and Spanish-style recreational plaza. Streets run perpendicular to the plaza and are dotted with quaint shops.

  • 1 Guayama Pueblo (downtown Guayama). See the historic Roman Catholic church, Spanish-style recreational plaza, and the municipal buildings surrounded by streets and shops.
    You can drive around the pueblo or park your car and walk around the square and into the plaza. The Spanish law, which regulated life in Puerto Rico in the early 19th century, stated the plaza's purpose was for celebrations and festivities.

  • 5 Paseo Tablado Punta Pozuelo, PR-7710. 6AM-10PM. Landmark with a nice view.
  • 1 Troche's Pool, Carr 3 km 140.2, Barrio Jobos, +1787-341-0390. Public pool for family reunions. The pool is only 5 feet deep. LGBT-friendly.
  • 1 Walmart, Plaza Av. Los Veteranos, km 134.7, +1. 6AM-11PM. This is not a Walmart Supercenter but a department store with a small grocery section. This location has a Vision Center, Photo Center and Pharmacy. Walmart on Wikipedia
