- 2 Ikeda Castle (池田城), 3-19 Shiroyamacho (10 min walk north of Hankyu Ikeda Station), ☏ +81 72-753-2767. The original castle was built by the Ikeda clan in 1334. The modern reconstruction was built in 2000.
- 3 Ikeda City Museum of History and Folklore (池田市立歴史民俗資料館), 1 Chome-10-12 Satsukigaoka. Outlines the city's history with information and artifacts.
- 4 Cupnoodles Museum Osaka Ikeda (カップヌードルミュージアム 大阪池田), 8-25 Masumi-cho (200 m from the south exit of the Ikeda station), ☏ +81 72-752-3484. W-M 09:30-16:30. Retells the story of the cup noodles brand and its founder Momofuku Ando. Free, ¥500 if you want to make your own cup noodles.
