A group of 23 remote islands in Nagasaki prefecture with a population of 28,000. All of them belong to Iki City (壱岐市 Iki-shi).

By boat

The island is connected to the city of Fukuoka, the small town of Karatsu as well as the large island of Tsushima.

By plane

• 1 Iki Airport (壱岐空港) (IKI  ^IATA). Has two flights a day to Nagasaki as well as a daily flight to Osaka.  

Get around

A local bus company called "Iki-kotsu" provides transportation around the island.
